Follow these steps to set up your LinkedIn profile:

Step 1: Go to LinkedIn.com Click “Join now” or download the LinkedIn app and tap “Join.”

Step 2: Enter Your Information Use a professional email address (ideally not your current company domain) and create a password. LinkedIn will ask for your name, location, and job title. You can enter your current C-level title (ex: "Chief Operating Officer") and your company name.

Step 3: Confirm Your Email Check your inbox for a confirmation code from LinkedIn. Enter the code to verify your email.

Step 4: Add a Professional Photo Upload a high-resolution, professional headshot, nothing casual or blurry. You want to look approachable, polished, and confident.

Step 6: Add Your Experience List your recent executive roles with company names, titles, and years. Don't worry about writing detailed descriptions yet,we’ll help you optimize that later.

Step 8: Customize Your LinkedIn URL Click “Edit public profile & URL” on the right-hand side of your profile. Shorten your URL to something simple like: linkedin.com/in/firstnamelastname

Step 9: Add a Banner Image (Optional but Recommended) This goes behind your profile photo. Use a clean image that fits your industry, something abstract, professional, or company-related.
